Schooner Enterprise is seeking a full time Bar manager with great customer service experience to start immediately
Must commit to a full calendar year, as well as working weekends, holidays and on call.
30 hrs a week full time
Ability to manage 10 to 20 staff in various areas of responsibility
Oversee operations of Food and Beverage venue and ensure consistency of guest experience
Ensure all orders are accurate and timely
Resolve customer issues and complaints professionally
Communicate daily with the General Manager
Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
Accounting the daily cash, preparing and submitting reports
Sales and wastage
Extensive weekly inventory counts
Meetings with various sales reps, to keep a high level of product knowledge
Closing and opening duties
Hiring of new staff
High School Diploma
Education from a Post-Secondary institute is preferred but not required.
5 Years Customer experience
2 Years Minimum Bar Management experience
Level 1 Food safe is preferred but not required
Handle Stressful situations and meet fluctuating and demanding needs.
Strong work Ethic and positive team attitude.
Clear understanding of food safe and serving it right Procedures
Great organizational, time management, prioritizing and problem solving skills
Decision making: Job task planning and organizing
intermediate comprehension of excel, outlook and Mac operations
Have Large Vehicle for picking up orders
Faced Paced environment
Standing, crouching, walking for extended periods of time
Lifting objects up to 50kg
