GreaseCar, FryBrid, etc. Run your (older) diesel engine on filtered waste vegetable oil, often available for free with some looking.
I have 2 of these kits, were used on late 70's and early 80's Mercedes 5 cylinder diesels.
One kit, not sure of brand already removed. 'FryBrid' kit, still on vehicle.
These kits included spare trunk mounted vegetable oil tanks, fuel lines wrapped and insulated with the coolant lines, filters, switches, misc plumbing, pumps, valves, etc.
If not familiar, start your diesel engine on regular diesel until warmed up. Switch over to Waste Vegetable Oil (WVO), drive for free, before stopping switch back to regular diesel to purge the system.
Your exhaust may smell like French Fries!
This system has been used on many older engines, including Ford, Mercedes, Volkswagon, Toyota, Nissan, Chevrolet / GMC, Dodge Ram, Audi, etc.
There is a lot of info available online, including installation instructions.
