What you get: -An awesome, mature, single professional (health care system), with impeccable employment, tenancy and personal references, who will respect and care for any home, and the rent paid on time, always! -A stable, solid, long-term, non-smoking, non-drinking, non-partying type who values respectful neighbours and privacy in my living environment more than most things, with only a handful of well-behaved family and very close friends as guests and visitors, and not often. -Other than my well-behaved friends and family, I have no pets and do not intend on having any in the future. -I am also open to a rent-to-own for more monthly... this is by no means a requirement, however. What I get: -UNfurnished, detached dwelling with 2 good sized bedrooms, practical layout, with decent storage for the day to day stuff (i.e. well thought out kitchen/modern appliances/cupboards/clothes and linen/broom closets) and perhaps 1.5 bathrooms, but at least one full with a full size bathtub. -Sufficient clean/dry storage for things like camping gear, Christmas stuff and somewhere to set up my winter workout equipment if there is not enough space in the actual dwelling. -Limited noise and light pollution from roads, street lights and similar -Private outdoor space: patio, yard and/or deck or garden. -Rural and/or close to trail systems, green things to look at out my windows whenever possible -Easy access and a good parking spot for my car -Duncan, North Cowichan, Chemainus or maximum 5-ish driving minutes to/from any of them, South Ladysmith could be a possibility as well -Respectful landlords who are not out to take unfair advantage of the current housing crisis, and a space I can call home for the longer term, moving is not fun. I am looking to pay about $1400.00 + utilities, but can certainly have some flexibility depending on the situation, I am well-employed. Why I want to move: Increasingly challenging practical issues/logistics in my current living situation.
