$2,750 · 1996 Volvo Penta 302 CI Fresh Water Cooled Engine and Volvo SX Leg

I am repowering and podding my boat and I have a 302 ci Volvo Penta engine built in 1996 with 1300 hours on it. The engine has low compression in 2 cylinders, We suspect a head gasket needs replacement. Compression numbers are from Westshore Marine and as follows : 1-145, 2-130, 3-150, 4-160, 5-125, 6-90, 7-140, 8-160. The engine had the following replaced over the last year, Manifolds, risers, distributor and all bellow rubbers. Serial # 5.0FIPNCSCE The 1996 Volvo SX leg is in good condition and had no problems with it when removed from the boat.
