The Good: Lower kms for these outbacks! This car is worth investing in if you need a reliable car for the winter. One of the best AWD systems. Needs some TLC but does not need a head gasket! Heated leather interior is in great shape and all heating works! all power windows work. In 2017 had tire balancing done and wheel thrust alignment done at Canadian Tire. Also had the brakes done (Brakes still feel a little soft though) and the headlights rewired at Beddis road garage on saltspring island a few years back. Also has a new battery couple of years ago. Great sound system with lots of bass and radio and cd player work. This car will take you through any weather with lots of space, can even sleep in the back during camping. The steering feels great. The Bad Starting to show signs of transmission issues. Starting to have intermittent issues going through gears and the occasional aggressive shift but still gets going and drives okay. Will slow up on a hill if you dont go up with speed. Has some exterior body damage from hitting a branch during a low-speed offroad adventure on salt spring island, only exterior damage. Epoxied the driver's side mirror on, the right turnlight is loose and needs to be held in place (using epoxy or gorilla tape), right fog light got smashed. Dent on the passenger side is from exiting a tight parking garage in Vancouver. I had an issue where I couldn't get the parking lights to turn off and had to disconnect the battery (only happened once). The AC went when trying to jump-start it but might still be just a fuse. Back left tire seems to have a slow leak. Sway bar removed but its fine without one. Honest seller looking at getting someone a cheap car worth investing so they can get around - $500 OBO
