Parking outdoors for 2 vehicles included. A frame is attached to main house where the landlords live. We have our storage rooms between the two dwellings (down and upstairs) which practically mutes any sound from one house to the next. Very bright, yet it is surrounded by forest. Shared laundry facilities. Shared hydro. There's a big natural pond used by wild birds and frogs. There's also a seasonal creek. We have a very nice playground for children 1st floor: Two individual entrances, kitchen door and, facing the pond, you have patio doors. Open concept living room/dining/kitchen w/two appliances. Heating in winter and air conditioning in summer with a remote controlled ductless heat pump. 2nd floor: Bedroom facing the pond with glass wall/windows. Bathroom with bathtub and very large window too. Baseboard heater in the bedroom. The area: You can take a 10-min walk to get to the quarry's waters edge, the best swimming spot you never heard of. Many great trails right next to the property. Bus stops are located a 5-min walk from here. Groceries, schools, pubs, parks are all close by. Close to the Highway, easy 45 minutes to downtown Victoria and 50 minutes to downtown Nanaimo. Conditions: - No indoor pets. We 're very sorry. We can't even accept part-time indoor pets (We're ok with fish and pets that live outdoors. We have a large Calgarian winter insulated dog house available) - No smoking/vaping inside ever.
