2 Year Old Cane Corso/Boxer/Boerboel Needs Forever Home

We are looking for a forever home for Rocket, our energetic 2-year-old Cane Corso/Boxer/Boerboel. Unfortunately, he is just too much dog for our young family and he needs more attention, exercise and training than we are able to provide. He has puppy energy at the age of 2 and is just too much for us to handle. He is good with our 4, 7, 10 and 13-year-old children, but he is protective and in turn is aggressive towards other dogs and cats, as well as strangers. We took him to Best Paw Forwards obedience training a year ago with no improvement in his behaviour. We most recently took him to Tranquil Touch Animal Therapy for doggy "rehab". His behaviour improved, and he had no problem being around other dogs or people, but it didn't take long to slip back to his old ways. He really needs someone with PLENTY of experience training this breed. We are not charging any rehoming fee. We are not looking to make money or benefit from this. All we want is for him to go to a good, forever home where he can get the attention he needs and deserves. In hindsight, a lot more research should have been done prior to us choosing this breed and size of a dog for our family. He was recently neutered on October 10th and had his flea medication as well.
