2001 Toyota Echo 234k I am selling my beloved echo. She has been an excellent trouble-free car for the 8 years that I have had her. She has been an Island car for most of her life but while I had her she was insured in Alberta and Manitoba and she is currently insured in Manitoba. I drove her almost entirely for hwy kms as I lived in a rural area and commuted to work. (she was at 171K when I bought her) I would not sell her except that I now want a vehicle I can use car camping with seats that fold down and so I purchased a toyota matrix of similar vintage. I have all the service records for her lifetime. The first owner had her for only a very brief time and the second owners had her for about 10 years. She received regular oil changes and has not required much other than oil changes, brakes and tires. She had front and rear brakes done last winter as well as a new battery. She will need a new windshield. Her tires will need to be replaced at some point but should be good for a bit yet, they are Nokian All-Weather with the snowflake and she needs a plastic clip to be replaced on her bumper. I drove her this summer to Alberta from Chemainus and it cost $42 the whole way about 1000km! She handles very nicely, her steering is smooth, the braking is responsive and she is easy and fun to drive. I absolutely love my echo and I have only good things to say about her and I except the person who has her next should have the same experience. She is in very good condition in the interior. She has a couple exterior blemishes from the previous owner, but all in all she is in good clean condition with aftermarket stereo. No A/C but has cold fan and heater. I am asking less that the other echo's I see listed because she will need a new windshield and because she is currently insured in MB - though she was mainly an Island vehicle. Mostly I would like her to find a new home with someone who will enjoy her and care for her as much as I have.
