ar of jams/jellies each batch has 1/2 the sugar of ordinary jam using "no sugar needed" pectin (3 cups per batch). All jams & jellies are prepared by bringing the fruit & pectin to a full rolling boil, adding sugar, bring to a boil again for 3 to 5 min. Then put in sterile jars and hot water bath for 20 minutes. Each jar is $5.50. Flavors made to date include: * Blackberry jelly * Grape jelly * Black Huckleberry jelly * Red Huckleberry jelly * Crabapple jelly * Crabapple/Rhubarb jam * Plum jam * Bumbleberry Jam (Coming soon Blueberry jam) To produce a case of jam (12 jars) it costs me approximately $10 for jars, $16 for pectin (@$4 each), $6.00 to $8.00 for sugar, plus fruit cost - I bought blueberries but picked everything else (which is time and fuel) so to make it worth my while please consider donating any canning jars or lids so I can keep making more!
