Sheba is an approximately 2 year old 60 lb, very cuddly and loving husky type mix. She can be shy when meeting some new people, but warms up before long. Sheba's dream home would include a securely fenced yard and lots of hikes! She's not a dog park dog as new dogs rushing up tend to make her nervous, but she gets along with dogs big and small once she gets comfortable with them. Sheba walks beautifully on leash, but is not yet ready for off-leash excursions as she is still working on her recall. Sheba has met kids and does well with them, she just needs to remember not to jump on them in her excitement to meet them 😉 Sheba is crate trained, house trained, and has had all her vetting done. She loves cuddling and is very tolerant for her brushing and nail trims. She has learned so much in her wonderful foster home, and now is just waiting for her fairy tale ending ❤️ The Farm is a not for profit all species animal rescue and rehabilitation farm located in Victoria BC. We rescue and help provide homes for animals in need, and rehab animals that have been orphaned, are in medical distress, as well as some behaviour modification. All animals in our care are vetted before adoption and are adopted out on non breeding contracts.
