Bookkeeping, Admin, Design (Nanaimo) Accounting including Payroll - Experience and Education: * A proven track record in full cycle bookkeeping, account reconciliation and project budget tracking, processing payroll, Statutory remittances, and reporting for analysis and fiscal management. * Process payroll with different pay periods * Collect, confirm and process time-sheets, over-time, Statutory Holiday Pay and Vacation Pay * Process T4s, ROE * Verify taxes and other deductions/ remit with-holdings and Employer payable portion to CRA government Receiver General & Minister of Finance: GST, PST, E.I., CPP, Federal and Provincial Income Taxes * AP & AR responsibilities: entering expense invoices/receipts, checking statements, reconciliation of company bank accounts, credit cards, petty cash, Vendor management i.e.: WSBC and insurance liability, and employee expense reimbursements. Ensure accounts are paid in a timely manner while maintaining customer relationships * Month end reconciliations and closing adjustment entries * Preparation of year-end files/financial statements to accountants: Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Trial Balance, Chart of Accounts * Proficiency with QuickBooks, Sage 50, Microsoft Office Excel, Access * Bookkeeping to correct compliance issues * CRA audit experience, Client's representative for CRA communications * All issues resolved to the CRA's satisfaction Relevant education: Accounting & PCP Payroll Compliance Practitioner credential. Additional Services: Administration Design Contract by the job or hourly ongoing
