CIBC Run for the Cure Committee Members

The Canadian Cancer Society is looking for 3 amazing volunteers to join this year's CIBC Run for the Cure Planning Committee in Nanaimo! Are you willing to go that extra mile to help change the future of breast cancer for your family, friends and all Canadians? The CIBC Run for the Cure is a walk/run event held on Sunday, October 6th in nearly 60 communities across Canada. The purpose of this event is to bring together people who support those affected by breast cancer, and to raise funds for breast cancer research and patient support programs. Community Outreach Lead As the Community Outreach Lead you will identify and implement opportunities to promote the CIBC Run for the Cure in the Nanaimo area (festivals and events, speaking engagements, clubs). Run Day Experience Lead As the Run Day Experience Lead you will work with your committee to create a memorable experience for participants on Run day. Hope Lounge Lead As the Hope Lounge Lead you will create relationships with local survivor groups and survivors who have previously participated in the Run and ensure that each survivor has a memorable and engaging experience.
