Class 1 Driver - Nights

ColdStar Solutions Inc. is searching for a permanent full-time Class 1 Driver to join their night team. This position will work five nights per week, Monday through Friday, starting at 10:30pm. This is a general freight position, doing everything from P&D work to shuttling trailers up and down Vancouver Island. The successful candidate must work well independently, take direction well, and not be afraid to ask clarifying questions. Some flexibility for holiday coverage is required. Qualifications: 1 year experience driving a manual Class 1, required; A Class 1 Driver's License and clean driver's abstract, required; Knowledge of reefer settings & food temperature hauling requirements, an asset; Experience using an electric pallet jack and forklift, an asset; Knowledge of local roads & highways, an asset; Physically able to lift 50lbs, required.
