Cycle Counter

The Opportunity Slegg Building Materials Nanaimo is currently seeking a full time Cycle Counter employee. Cycle Counter will perform merchandise inventory counts on a rotating basis to ensure counts are accurate, adjust on hand inventory, communicate with all levels of store management, and work closely with staff to ensure we are in an In-Stock position at all times. Key Account Responsibilities and Functions (Include but are not limited to the following) * Act as an ambassador of the company with all employees and customers * Maintain an emphasis on a safety culture, customer service, and efficiency as top priorities * Perform ongoing, rotating inventory counts of merchandise * Ensure inventory is properly accounted for and controlled * Complete on hand adjustment of inventory * Responsible for updating product Bin labels and tags and supporting large vendor or category price changes * Communicate areas of the store that require maintenance or cleaning to store management Required Skills and Qualifications * A broad knowledge of building supplies is preferred * Detail orientated with, Ability to focus, Self-Starter * Ability to multi task and provide customer service when required * Excellent computer skills * Basic mathematic skills * A positive can do attitude is essential!
