We are downsizing our collection and have for sale the collector pieces titled "CPR No 374" and the "Countess of Dufferin".
CPR No 374, from an original painting by Robert J Banks this type 4-4-0 locomotive pulled the first passenger train from Montreal to Vancouver, arriving May 23, 1887. Also from an original painting by renowned artist Robert J Banks, CPR No 1, a Baldwin Type 4-4-0, the "Countess of Dufferin" was the first steam locomotive to operate in Western Canada, in 1877.
"CPR No 374" and the "Countess of Dufferin" form a two-piece collector series titled "The Iron Pioneers". Beautifully detailed, each piece is numbered, is part of a limited edition and comes in its original box. Both pieces are signed by the artist and are in excellent condition. We are asking $20.00 for each piece.
