Threshing was one of the busiest and happiest times of the year; a conclusion to a year's hard work. Teams would haul the bundles to the threshing machine in rotation and many days horses and farmers worked twelve hour days when the weather was good. Often a community effort, they would not stop until everyone's crop was put up. In "Harvest Gold", Canadian artist Georgia Jarvis depicts these busy times on the farm. An early numbered plate, #613 of a limited edition of 5000. Measures 11 1/4" including frame.
