This is a beautifully restored, and very clean log cabin nestled at the edge of a forest. It is off-grid and the lighting and fridge inside run on solar power (no utility costs!). There is a wood burning cookstove for heat and cooking (even baking). Not for the faint of heart, you must be able to heat with wood whether that means buying wood or chopping you own. A propane on demand shower hangs over a claw foot tub on the back deck. There is a custom outhouse (clean) by the cabin as well. A 2000gallon water tank supplies the cabin with water. It is the tenant's responsibility to refill as needed. The land is a paradise for the right person. The cabin is on 14 acres of very untouched forest and meadow, with ponds and a variety of animals, flowers and rare plants. The land is shared with our caretaker and her 2 children.
