Job Description The Parksville Outreach Support Team is looking for an energetic, flexible, support worker to join their team. The successful candidate must be able to provide: *A valid driver's license *Must be 19 years of age *A clean driver's abstract *A clean Criminal Record Check *Have a TB screen test *A valid first aid certificate *Have kitchen skills *Have some computer skills *Be able to support client with daily life skill needs, accessing community supports such as mental health and addiction, life skills and recreation. *Be physically and mentally fit to perform the job, Dr. Letter required *Relevant certificates and diplomas will be acknowledged (SIVA, CSW, CYC, etc.) *Ability to show patience and understanding is a must!! *Ability to work independently and as part of a team to best support the individual. We have full time and part time positions available. Support is done primarily in the community.
