Personal care assistant

Care provider required for my pleasant, frail elderly mother with mild dementia in my home on acreage near Parksville, now until end of July. Main duties include 24 hour monitoring for and providing transfer and mobility assistance (transfer belt, walker, wheelchair), positioning on bed. Provide meals, assist with all personal care: bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, physical comfort care. Assist with all activities of daily living, light housekeeping. Equipment and routines are in place. Nights are normally a sleep shift. She sleeps many daytime hours. Shifts and hours are flexible. Experience and references required. Competitive employment wage.
