Special Education Assistant

Regent Christian Online Academy is currently seeking a Special Education Assistant (SEA) in the Nanaimo/Lantzville area, to work in home and community class with an elementary grade student with special needs. This position involves 4-6 hours per week, days flexible, from now until June 15th; wage is discussed upon successful application. The SEA will deliver prepared learning materials, adapt lesson presentation specifically in areas of reading/math remediation, include integration of brain/body breaks and focus and engage the student. SEA must be able to provide own transportation. This position would suit Christian individuals who have a caring nature and experience working with youth.
