Tama Rockstar drums have been made for over 35 years. These drums (bass and three toms) are from the Rockstar Pro line, which boasted a lacquer finish to the drums, rather than the otherwise normal drum wrap. These drums date from 1991 and the finish was called "See Thru Black Lacquer". Unfortunately, the finish has been damaged here and there, but you can see from the pictures that these drums still look pretty sharp. As is usual for early '90's drums, the hanging toms are "power" sizes - 12" x 11" deep and 13" x 12" deep. But the huge sound they produce makes this well worthwhile. The floor tom is 16" x 16" and the kick drum 22" x 16". The top heads on all three toms have been upgraded since the pix were taken, and now have Remo Pinstripes. The drums all tune up well and have a big rock sound. With these great drums, there is a steel snare drum (not Tama) and all the necessary hardware (stands and pedals). Plus there are some great sounding Sabian cymbals, including a big sounding set of AA Rock hi hats. To complete the package there is a drum stool, a pair of drum sticks and a tuning key. Everything you will need to start to rock out!
