$225 · OBO. VINTAGE LATE 1960'S AUTOCRAT SNARE DRUM CAST HOOPS MADE IN UK

I have for sale this 5" by 14" Rose Morris Autocrat snare drum, made in the UK. Judging by what I have found on line, this model dates from the late 1960's when RM started to market the Autocrat under their own brand, rather than John Grey. The drum is in excellent used condition. Apart from a new Aquarian batter head, everything about the drum appears to be original, down to the snare side head and the snares themselves. The drum has a wood shell, with no inner re-rings and the black wrap has no marks or issues. There are 8 lugs, all with the slotted tension rods. The original cast hoops are unmarked and look like they just left the factory. The internal damper works just fine. The drum sounds amazing. I am selling it as I find the sound too big for the type of gigs I have and I want this piece of UK drum history to be loved and appreciated by being played!
