Do you or a friend or family member have a tube type reel to reel tape player/recorder kicking around? The kinds with built in speaker or a speaker plug-in. The old style with it's own amplification built in - not the kind that need to be plugged into an amp in order to be heard, you know? I'm looking for them in pretty much any condition, to tinker with. Brands like Akai, Tandberg, Roberts, Pioneer, Ampex, Bell & Howell, Crown, Craig, Heathkit, Phillips, RCA, Webster etc...
