A large national telecommunications company located in Nanaimo is looking for a top Warehouse person to join their busy team! This is a temporary position to start. WAREHOUSE AND CUSTOMER SERVICE Position: Temporary for 6 months, likely to become permanent for the right candidate Hours: Monday - Friday, 6am - 2.30pm Location: Nanaimo, on main transit routes Pay rate: $17/hour to start Start date: ASAP What does the role involve? * Order picking, packing and general warehouse upkeep * Inventory tracking using an RF scanner * Computer use - data entry and invoicing * Customer service - helping service technicians locate equipment Requirements for the role; * Prior warehouse experience (at least 1 year) * Basic to intermediate computer skills * Steel toe boots * Lifting up to 30 pounds * Clean drivers licence * A positive team player, with a common sense approach * Can work well with minimal supervision once oriented to the warehouse Advantages; * Work with a major national, well-known brand * Opportunity for a long-term, permanent position * Advancement opportunities * Work in a clean, organized and LEAN environment * $17/hour to start * Weekly pay * Immediate start date * Busy role, you won't be bored! * Benefits available on permanent appointment * Friendly team and approachable management - pizza lunches and team rewards are a regular occurrence!
