re you or anyone you know a fire survivor? What did you learn and what are things you do now after being through a fire situation? These could be valuable lessons for all of us. It was around 3 or 4am . The Blaze was so loud and HOT that the smoke was extremely thick&BLack. I can honestly say if it wasn't for my partner I don't know what would have happened. have you known or read of a survivor who has lived through a terrible fire tragedy and has triumphed? Then we are all ears! I wish we would have known what they went through and importantly what would be their advice on how we need to prepare in case of a fire accident. The Most Important thing in that home was both my parent's ashes. We had absolutely NO time to grab anything thanks to Outreach of Nanaimo, which helped us out with a few essentials and shelter for a few days but we are down to our last 2 days here and have been saving anything to put towards another stay for a couple of weeks until we can get something more stable and pernament, We plan on using any donations we may receive for our food&shelter for the next couple weeks I am not used to asking for help or complaining about my personal issues . But I do believe this is a situation in completely stuck, And I know all the rumors and stories behind what happened that night, But we truly know the story and that was my home for 23yrs , But atleast we excaped with our lives , Materials are are replaceable , But family photo's and memories and My parents Memorial item's are not We appreciate anything that anyone can help with we are currently at the Value Lodge But only have untill the 4th at 11am left then were hoping/praying something will help us Thank you, everyone and happy new Year Mike&Sarah
