Kitchen Designer: Easy Installations a is a rapidly growing kitchen company that specializes in IKEA kitchen cabinetry design. Not just limited to kitchens, we also design cabinetry layouts for bathrooms, closets, offices…the list goes on! We are a close, friendly crew and looking for another gem to add our central Vancouver Island team based out of our Nanaimo showroom, servicing Shawinigan Lake to Qualicum. Our client can be one wanting a small basement suite renovated, to that of one needing full cabinetry and creative vision for a new build. No job is too small and none too big! We pride ourselves on customer service that sets us apart from others. We have created a team that have the knowledge, vision, creativity and sales ability to get the job done. POSITION: -Make contact with leads, provided by our office, to set your own consultation appointment with clients (no cold calling!). Set your own schedule within a Monday to Friday 8am-4pm parameter. Coordinate with our sister company, T-Square Construction, if that aspect is required for the project. -Meet with clients, typically in their home, taking accurate measurements, listening to their needs and their wants for their renovation vision. -Design the kitchen cabinetry layout and create computer renderings for client presentations that you will be presenting. -Create accurate dimension elevations for trades to work/install. from. Knowledge of building codes an asset but can be taught. -Create & complete detailed cabinetry order lists that our administrator can follow for the IKEA orders. -Follow through with clients to take ownership of the work being provided. This is a sub-contractor position. You will be required to provide your own transportation and supplies. Uncapped earning potential is possible, with competitive commission rate. WCB insurance is covered by us. We know the importance of a solid crew, so understanding the role of the designer is a crucial part of the whole. We are a well-oiled machine!
