Labourers Needed Urgently!

We are looking for additional crew members! Labourers will be responsible for performing various tasks at GRT's Resource Remediation Facility (soil washing plant) in Duke Point, Nanaimo. You will be working outdoors during day and/or night shifts. Wages $19-$25/hr+ night shift premium, wage based on experience. PLEASE SEND RESUME TO stephen@grtenv.com -Load and unload materials and move materials to work areas -Pick out/sort items that come through conveyors -Help tradespersons in construction activities -Help heavy equipment operators secure special attachments to equipment, signal operators to guide them in moving equipment, and provide assistance in other activities -Remove rubble and other debris at facility and/or project sites using rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows, and other equipment -Tend or feed machines or equipment used in facility/plant operations, such as mixers, shaker decks, screens, trammels, compressors, and pumps -Adhere to applicable safety and environmental standards, regulations and company policies **First Aid Certification or other Trade Tickets are an asset.** One to two years of experience as a labourer in a related industry, or a willingness to learn is required. -Must be able to lift and control equipment and materials up to 50 lbs. -Must be able to walk around project sites. -Manual dexterity is required. -Standing for extended periods. -Bending, crouching, and kneeling.
