This giant wiggle bum is a bit clumsy and can be a handful when excited, she will require a physically strong person to help her learn and manage her behaviors, a mastiff experienced home is a plus. Leila can be a bit unsure of new people and environments at first and takes time to warm up. With a calm, experienced handler, she really excels quickly and has a ton of potential. Leila is protective of her home, typical of her guard type breed and is not compatible with living with others. Leila must go to a home where she will be the only dog. This sweet snuggly gal is waiting for her tribe. Someone that understands and has the time and desire to spend on basic manners and the experience needed for her to thrive. Desensitizing exercises will help to curb certain triggers such as reactivity to strangers and animals and will help her gain confidence and keep everyone happy and safe.
