Caregiver - RCA / LPN

Nanaimo: Looking for a female care aide / LPN who can assist a bariatric, adult woman with Multiple Sclerosis with limited mobility. The work schedule will be working part time evenings and weekends. As well as covering for holidays and sick days, if possible. Roles and responsibilities include: - Client has Multiple Sclerosis and tries to remain as independent as possible; however, she requires assistance with her mobility, including assisting with lifts in and out of bed or her chair(s); - Assisting in daily personal hygiene and dressing; - Performing housekeeping tasks, such as vacuuming, cleaning, dusting, laundry, etc. - Preparing meals and clean up; Requirements: - Minimum 2 years experience with a RCA certificate / or as a LPN - Experience dealing with colostomy and wound care is expected - Equipment use includes an overhead lift, Sara Steady, and mechanical bed - training provided - Required to be fully vaccinated with Covid-19 shots - Recent Criminal Check Send resume and recent criminal check to integratedsolutions@shaw.ca.
