Job Description – Full-Time Seasonal Groundskeeper Position Summary: The full-time seasonal groundskeeper performs routine manual labor involved in golf course maintenance from late spring until early fall (possibly longer), including maintenance work, operation of small hand-powered equipment, ride-on machinery and some construction. Essential Function:  Perform daily maintenance of greens, tees, and fairways using appropriate mowers  Perform daily maintenance of bunkers with Sand Pro and rake  Use walk-behind rotary and reel mowers to cut certain areas of the golf course  Blow debris with backpack or hand blowers  Edge bunkers, curbs and gardens with line-trimmers  Help with general course cleanup  Assist as directed on aerating days  Assist as directed on construction projects that involve sodding, seeding, and large-scale cleanup of problem areas  Clean machines daily after use  Clean the shop, lunchroom, and washroom areas as assigned  Use all equipment in a safe and responsible manner as instructed  Complete maintenance and construction duties as directed  Be ready for early starts (6am – changing to 5:30am in near future)  Physically fit enough to lift 50lbs, and remain on feet for long periods of time For interested candidates please e-mail a brief cover letter with an attached resume.
