Vancouver Island bookkeeper based in Duncan, with 6+ years of experience, looking to obtain clients who need bookkeeping services. Background: HIGHLIGHT OF SKILLS: • Accounting degree with over 6 years practical experience • Proficient in all of Microsoft Office and Sage Accounting • Clean criminal record check with vulnerable sector • Valid BC Class 5 Driver’s License with clean driver’s abstract • Proven interpersonal client relationships developed over time with attention to trust • Strong written and verbal communications with co-workers and clients BOOKKEEPER AND ACCOUNTING SKILLS: • Complete monthly bank, credit card, and third-party reconciliations • Prepare financial statements for month, quarter, and fiscal year-end • Prepare accounts payables and accounts receivables • Maintain a consistent variance report based on budget • Preparing payroll through Sage 50 • Prepare and submit government remittances (GST and Payroll) • Prepare adjusting journal entries for month, quarter, and fiscal year-end CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS: • Uphold a good repour with clients • Adapt service and communication based on client’s needs • Maintain a level of privacy that clients expect and require Image attached outlines my services and duties to you, as a potential client.
