$600 · Registered Blue Eyed Doe in Milk with Buckling

4.5 year old blue-eyed registered doe in milk with brown-eyed and wattled buckling. Curious and sassy, Gwen enjoys scratches and will attempt a home invasion to visit by the fire. Figures out where the snacks are in the kitchen and is able to open sliding doors with a 1/2" opening. If her plastecine nose fits, so can the rest of her. Gwen has been vaccinated annually with Covexin. She is needle shy from her first owners, but this can be overcome with her favorite treats of dried fruit and/or birdseed. Needs to build trust on the milk stand but will tolerate hobbling to get the job done. Prefers experienced milking hands to children's hands. Has fibrosis in her left udder which manifests after kidding but it shrinks within a few weeks after milking. We have kept her in milk for just over two years and she gives around a liter or more (4 cups) of milk daily when being milked despite a smaller left udder. Selling her with her kid as my kids want to learn to milk and she won't tolerate their hands. Must go to someone goat-savvy and equipped. Has health records, registration paper and an intermittent milk log. Buckling has been vaccinated and is intact. Price reflects my desire to see them going to a good home...not the butcher.
