The front-wheel drive TLX is outfitted with a 206-hp 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine, or the 290-hp 3.5-liter V6 engine. The TLX SH-AWD is only offered with the 290-hp 3.5-liter V6 engine. The 2.4-liter is attached to an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission with paddle shifters. The 3.5-liter is attached to a 9-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters. TLX features the latest iterations of Acura super-handling technologies - Precision All-Wheel Steer (P-AWS), Super-Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD).
