$50 · Hatching Eggs: Various Heritage Breeds

I have hatching eggs available for the following rare breeds: 1) Heritage Plymouth Barred Rock -these differ greatly from commercial stock - the barring is much finer and more uniform. Good layers of beige eggs, friendly disposition. Love this old breed. 2) Barnevelder (standard)- I have been breeding these guys for 20 years now. Not related to West Coast's lines. Still my favourite breed. Lay brown eggs. 3) Lakenvelder - striking black-white-black plumage. These are awesome foragers, easy on feed but can be flighty. Lay medium-large white eggs which is pretty good for their size. Will lay for several years with winters off. 4) Whiting True Blue - Very impressed with this breed. For their size hens lay large teal blue or light blue eggs, very productive. And love the variety of feather colours and patterns. All the above, $50 per dozen. Please contact via email.
