Warehouse Worker - $17/hour

We require someone with strong communication and interpersonal skills, who has proven abilities performing an array of functions that includes receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, sorting, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, and managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse. What’s in it for you? - Permanent position full-time - Competitive salary of $17/hour - Be part of a growing team Requirements - Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (sort, load, pack, wrap, label, ship) -Load, unload and move packages by hand or basic material handling equipment. -Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store) -Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits. -Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization. -Conduct daily housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and orderly sorting area. -Assist loaders in placing packages into delivery vans. -Complete diary logs into inventory -Report any discrepancies. -Communicate and cooperate with warehouse manager and coworkers. -Operate and maintain warehouse equipment. -Follow safety standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations. -Any other duties as required. Qualifications and Experience -High school diploma or GED. -A combination of related experience, education, and training can be considered. -Experience working in high pressure warehouse environment. -Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods -Good organizational and time management skills -Ability to lift heavy objects. -Well organized with ability to multi-task -Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. -Ability to handle high volumes of work. -Comfortable walking and standing and working with the weather elements during the year.
