Perfect working order - circa 1750 -1800 - This clock has been continually running in my family for over 100 years with a few services along the way. This is a working-man's long case clock, not a pristine aristocrat's model. No pretensions, simple, and reliable. Some years ago, our clock repair guy became fascinated by this clock which he said was indicative of 18th century clock makers. He didn't know of the Hammond clock making company, but managed to find them mentioned in a reference book of his. As you can see in the photo above, they were around in 1768. Approximate size: 83" x 18" x 8½" Reasonable offers will be considered, lowball offers will be ignored.
