For a Collector, or someone who wants an eye-catching display piece - a 100 year-old Barber Chair (circa 1900 - 1920), made in Chicago by the Emil J. Paidar Company. It was purchased in Vancouver or the Okanagan in the 1970's and re-upholstered in red velvet. The upholstery is as new, and the footrest is in excellent condition, showing very little wear, with all the lettering clearly visible. Two small pieces to secure the footrest in place are missing at this time. Rotates on its pedestal, reclines if a seated person leans back in the chair. Does not have working hydraulics or a reclining lever. The photos provide a good description. Dimensions: 26 inches wide, 45 inches high, 24 inches deep (depth including footrest 38 inches). Purchaser will need to make all arrangements for moving.
