$1,425 · Caretaker Suite in 6-Unit Building

We are looking for a live-in Caretaker for this small apartment building in exchange for an approximate 25% reduction in rent. Duties will include occasional showing of suites to prospective tenants, monthly email reporting duties to out-of-town owners, salting of parking lot on freezing nights and occasionally providing access for tradespeople. No direct management of the tenancies or collecting of rent will be required - basically be the eyes and ears around the building. the suite has laundry, cats are allowed. bedrooms and bathroom are upstairs and the kitchen, living room and good-sized balcony are on ground-level. the lot slopes to the back of the house proving the elevated balcony off the living room heat is electric baseboard and electricity is not included. Rents in this building are $1,850+ so our theory is this should save someone approximately $425/month
