$150 · Traditional re-curve 50# draw bow made from local BC Yew Wood

I am not a professional bow maker, but I have crafted this bow with care. I made this re-curve bow after attending the Ravenbeak Natureworks Yew Bow work shop, in Courtenay BC (https://www.ravenbeak.com/workshops.html). The photo shows the instructor examining the bow I made at the work shop. That bow has been sold. The buyer comment: “the bow is a pleasure to shoot”. The re-curve bow for sale here has a 50 lb draw weight and a 66” length, which are suitable for target practice or game hunting. The BC yew wood is durable and flexible, giving the bow a smooth draw and a powerful release. This bow is an example of the traditional archery style that has been used for centuries. The famous English long bows are made from Yew wood. I have not shot this bow much as the draw weight is more than I can handle at my age of 85. In fact I no longer shoot, so that's why I am selling this bow..
