This car is in exceptionally good condition and has been garaged always. It is built like a tank and is a real pleasure to drive. This was a technological tour de force for Mercedes, costing over $90,000US new. It is loaded with features that were super luxurious in the day such as power tilt and telescope steering, power top, power seats, climate control, power mirrors (3). Rated at 320HP, the 5 litre V8 gives that combination of good performance and luxurious driving. There are two minor annoyances with the dashboard. The SRS lamp is always illuminated. Unfortunately, the OBD1 system predates the ability to code read for this fault. The other is that the temperature gauge is either all over the scale or at max temperature. The shop verified that the sensor is working and thus the fault is with the gauge itself. Otherwise, the car is an absolute dream. I am paraplegic so I need a convertible to make getting the wheelchair in and out, but a two seat roadster is a little impractical for us. There is some damage to the rear window on the convertible top, I have a new replacement included. There is also the factory hardtop and rolling storage rack, a car cover and a few tools.
