I bought this car almost 3 ½ years ago from the family that owns Beetle Auto Service in Victoria on June 2nd 2017. It is my 5th VW Golf. What is special about this car is it has a motor from a 2006 VW Golf that was installed by Beetle Auto Service. They purchased the motor from Alberta after a hail storm damaged hundreds of the exteriors of vehicles. It was shipped to them and it was totally rebuilt before it was installed. It has 190,000 kms on it.The car gets about 55 miles to the gallon and has regular synthetic oil changes. The car has a brand-new battery ($275.00) 2 weeks ago (mid October) as well as new seats covers. The 6 speaker Alpine Stereo CD Receiver CDE- W235BT with Power Amp is an upgrade from the original stock car stereo. The windshield is new and completely unblemished. The side back windows and rear window have been professionally tinted. The car has been lowered 1/2 inch previous to me buying it. This is a great fun car and has a fair bit of get up and go to.
