This hydrangea has a good strong root stock in 3 gallon pot, and stands 39" with about a 2 ft spread. Fast-growing to 4 to 6 ft. tall and wide. These hydrangea can be either blue or pink, depending on the PH balance of the soil. As the season goes by, the colour changes as well. They are also gorgeous in fresh or dry arrangements. It will need an abundance of water (especially during droughts), but well-drained soil. If soil is heavy, add roughage such as pinebark mulch. They want partial to full sun, and rich soil. They will bloom and grow well in morning sun and afternoon shade. Hydrangeas are natures own pH tester... Beautiful blue in acid soil (greater than pH 7.0), and you will get pink flowers if you have alkaline soil (less than pH 7.0). Kevin - 250-757-8172
