Made by the Premier Instrument Corporation this well designed camera is the American version of the German-made Leica IIIA. This wonderful and improved "American Leica", was designed to withstand temperatures as low as -70 degrees and as high as 150 degrees. The US military ordered 1650, and an additional 200 piece overrun was sold to the public. This is one of 200. Works fine but signs of heavy use.
