$625 · YAMAHA TOUR CUSTOM MAPLE DRUMS

I am selling these Yamaha Tour Custom drums. They have all-maple shells (6ply on snare and toms and 7ply on bass). The shell interiors have a factory-applied thin coat of clear varnish, and the exteriors are finished in a darkish-blue lacquer. There are a few minor marks to the outside finish, but overall the drums are in wonderful shape for a 15 year old set. This is a serious players set, and comes in the Yamaha range between the Stage Custom series and the super-expensive Japanese made pro lines. Drum sizes are 22" bass drum, 10" and 12" suspended toms and a 16" floor tom. The matching snare drum is 14" x 5.5" deep. The bass drum has a nearly new Evans display head and the original Yamaha Remo Powerstroke style batter head. The three toms have replacement two ply heads whilst the snare drum still has the original Yamaha Remo heads. All the drums tune up easily and they sound amazing. Some of the pictures have what look like white marks on the top of the bass drum. These are mainly reflections from the flash photos, and I have added a close up of the top of the bass drum without flash to clarify this I am selling these five drums, with the snare stand, tom mount and floor tom legs, but no other hardware. I think the price is pretty reasonable, as the current edition of the Tour Custom series in the same configuration sells for $1700 plus taxes!
