The successful candidate will be responsible for welcoming and providing a warm reception to all our guests by creating out of this world, unique guest experiences. This position requires schedule flexibility including evenings, holidays, and weekend shifts. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: - Answer internal and external telephone calls; informing or re-directing calls accordingly - Greet all guests; offer information on the facility, events and promotions and ensure all needs are met - Build and maintain relationships with guests, through use of recognition and personal attention - Able to make clear concise announcements over a PA system - Issue and balance cash value promotional IVS programs - Promote and signing up guests for the BCLC - Encore player rewards program - Communicate effectively with all appropriate operational departments - Assist with all internal and external promotions and special events - Perform other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: - Minimum one year Customer Service experience - High school diploma required, post secondary education an asset - Strong interpersonal and communication skills - Second language an asset - Knowledge of MS Office and Outlook - Ability to adapt and work a flexible schedule - Proven excellent guest service and people skills - Professional attitude and appearance, strong interpersonal skills, and a team player
