Foley Dog Treat Company is committed to producing healthy and delicious dog treats made with all-natural, unprocessed, human-grade ingredients at our production facility in Nanaimo, BC. We are recruiting for a part-time, permanent Production Worker. As part of our production team, you will work at multiple stations on the production floor and gain hands-on production and manufacturing experience. Key Duties • Set up and clean up of the production stations • Follow daily production plans and complete production records with accuracy • Safe operation of production line equipment • Safe handling and mixing of ingredients in compliance with HAACP requirements • Ensure accurate labeling of ingredients and products • Follow ingredient and product storage procedures in compliance with HAACP requirements • Inspect finished product before packaging; ensuring quality control • Responsible for packaging product and preparing orders for shipping • Assist with the shipping and receiving process including unloading and storage of ingredients • Responsible for organization and general cleaning of production facility – tasks include but not limited to washing dishes, taking out the garbage, sorting recycling, sweeping, vacuuming, high touch surface cleaning, sanitizing production equipment, sanitizing production stations as well as other general cleaning duties as assigned.
