Prior professional experience not required! Vehicle not required! Looking for a personal care assistant to help a friendly and cheerful bed-bound young woman with a neurological disease. We are looking for someone to come weekday mornings, 2 or 3 days a week. We need help on Mondays but are flexible on the other days of the week. Tasks include: helping with laundry, toileting, hygiene, light cleaning and cooking. Hourly pay is $25 per hour for the first two weeks, then $27 an hour. Feel free to include a bit about yourself! Will be required to mask, masks provided upon request. We are located on a main bus route in Nanaimo, within biking distance of downtown, so no vehicle required!
