Career Opportunity - Landscape Sales

Sharecost Rentals & Sales is a locally-owned Equipment Rental & Landscape Supply company in central Nanaimo. We pride ourselves on helping customers accomplish the jobs they need to get done. We have an opportunity for a full-time Landscape Sales person, that will lead into a management role for the right person. This is a very detail-oriented position, requiring patience and a friendly, outgoing service attitude. The ideal candidate is interested in a long-term commitment and willing to grow with the company to better serve our customers; full training is provided. This position can involve physical work at times; will be fast-paced & stressful in peak periods Job Skills & Qualifications Required: · min 2 yrs. recent retail sales experience; familiar with POS system, payment methods & handling cash · healthy and physically capable, with knowledge of good safety practices · ability to develop strong customer relationships · good computer, mathematical and problem-solving abilities Preferred: · forklift certification and bobcat operating experience · valid Class 5 drivers license - clean drivers' abstract · working knowledge of building and/or landscaping processes, machinery & equipment is an asset · the ability to multi-task, prioritize and remain effective under pressure · good written and verbal communications skills We are looking for a motivated individual with a great attitude who shares our commitment to 'showing up' and providing exceptional customer service and attention to detail.
