Lifetime Stainlees Steel Liquid Core Skillet - measures 11.5 inches across by 2" deep plus a little extra depth with a slightly domed lid. This multi-purpose Lifetime Liquid Core® Skillet is great for roasting, sautéing, pan-broiling or baking. The liquid core covers the side areas as well as bottom between the layers and spreads heat evenly over the entire pan, no more hot spots and very uniform cooking throughout. As with all 'waterless' cookware, the term means 'less water' and often just a tablespoon is ample. Saladmaster has a very similar product and both sell for several hundred $'s. This one is immaculate and works perfectly. You can cook a 'whole meal' in this pan by browning the meat (chicken, chops, steak etc), flipping them over and adding an array of veggies. In less than 1/2 hour your whole meal is ready and moist with a little gravy in the bottom, not at all dried out. At 11.5" it will cook enough for a family of 4 at least. Stir frys, flip & eat omelettes and even a roast....because you can regulate the temp and cook without burning (no hot spots remember!)
